Tre Scott Gets NBA Call-Up From Cavaliers

CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed Cleveland Charge forward Tre Scott to a 10-day contract via the NBA’s hardship exception, Cavaliers General Manager Koby Altman announced today from Cleveland Clinic Courts.  Tre becomes the 22nd Charge player in team history to receive an NBA Call-Up and the 16th to by signed by the Cavaliers.

Scott (6-8, 225) has appeared in 10 games (9 starts) this season for the Cleveland Charge, the Cavaliers’ exclusively owned and operated NBA G League affiliate, averaging 14.1 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.3 steals in 34.4 minutes per contest. Scott also appeared in 15 games (12 starts) during the 2020-21 G League season with the Salt Lake City Stars, the NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz. Scott attended the University of Cincinnati from 2016-2020.

The Charge will play their first game of the 2021 AT&T NBA G League Winter Showcase in Las Vegas tonight against the Salt Lake City Stars at 9:30 p.m. on NBA TV and REAL 106.1 FM.  Cleveland comes back home for a pair of games against the Maine Celtics – Holiday Hoopla on Monday, December 27 at 6:00 p.m. and Space Jam Night on Wednesday, December 29 at 6:00 p.m.!
