Tacko Fall Earns NBA G League Honors

The Cleveland Charge, presented by Cleveland Clinic, had a player earn postseason honors for the second year in a row with C Tacko Fall being named to the NBA G League All-Defensive Team, announced today by the league office. Fall led the league in blocks per game, averaging 2.7 with a total of 71 on the year. The 7-6 center averaged a double-double of 15.9 points and 10.8 rebounds in 26.7 minutes per game.

NEW YORK, April 18, 2022 – Kia NBA G League Most Valuable Player Trevelin Queen of the champion Rio Grande Valley Vipers headlines the 2021-22 All-NBA G League Teams, which were announced today along with the All-Defensive Team and the All-Rookie Team.

Joining Queen on the All-NBA G League First Team are Fort Wayne Mad Ants forward Justin Anderson, South Bay Lakers guard Mason Jones, College Park Skyhawks forward Justin Tillman and Texas Legends forward Moses Wright.  All five members of the First Team boast NBA experience, as Jones, Queen and Wright are NBA two-way players, and Anderson and Tillman earned GATORADE Call-Ups to the NBA this season.

The All-NBA G League Second Team includes two Delaware Blue Coats in center Charles Bassey and forward Braxton Key.  The second team is rounded out by Skyhawks guard Cat Barber, Motor City Cruise guard Saben Lee and Raptors 905 forward Reggie Perry.  All five players played in the NBA this season.

The All-NBA G League Third Team is composed of Cruise forward Luka Garza, Birmingham Squadron guard Jared Harper, Legends forward Justin Jackson and guard Carlik Jones and Vipers forward Anthony Lamb.  Harper earned All-NBA G League First Team honors last season, while Lamb was named the 2020-21 Kia NBA G League Most Improved Player.

The NBA G League All-Rookie Team features South Bay guard Mac McClung, the Kia NBA G League Rookie of the Year, along with Bassey, Garza, Jones and Sioux Falls Skyforce center Micah Potter.  McClung earned two GATORADE Call-Ups to the NBA this season, while Potter was called up by the Detroit Pistons in December 2021.

Delaware guard Shaquille Harrison, the 2021-22 Kia NBA G League Defensive Player of the Year, headlines the NBA G League All-Defensive Team.  Bassey, Cleveland Charge center Tacko Fall, Key and Queen make up the rest of the All-Defensive Team.
