Norvel Pelle Rejoins Charge

CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Charge, presented by Cleveland Clinic, have announced that C Norvel Pelle has rejoined the team after completing his 10-day contract with the Utah Jazz.  In a corresponding roster move, the team has waived G/F Charles Matthews.

Pelle appeared in three games with the Jazz and averaged two points and two rebounds in 6.3 minutes per game.  He has appeared in nine games this season for the Cleveland Charge, the Cavaliers’ exclusively owned and operated NBA G League affiliate, averaging 8.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 0.8 blocks in 22.2 minutes per contest.  Pelle also earned a 10-day contract with the Boston Celtics earlier this season.

Matthews played in four games for the Charge this season and averaged 2.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in 15.1 minutes per game.
