Nembhard Scores 42 in Season Finale

DETROIT, MI – The Cleveland Charge (6-26) of the NBA G League, presented by Cleveland Clinic, fell in their season finale game at the Motor City Cruise (22-10), 118-106, at the Wayne State Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon.

Cleveland Cavaliers assignment R.J. Nembhard had an all-around effort, scoring a career-high 42 points on 17-of-27 shooting with 12 rebounds, six assists and two steals in 43 minutes.  R.J.’s 42 points were the most scored by an individual in a Charge game this season.  Tacko Fall finished the season with his 17th double-double of the season, scoring 12 points, grabbing 11 boards and swatting five blocked shots in 32 minutes.  Kyle Guy scored 23 points, grabbed five rebounds, dished six assists and nabbed two steals in 43 minutes.  In just his second game with the team, Jordan Allen came off the bench to score 22 points in 30 minutes of relief.

Cheick Diallo paced the Cruise with 22 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks in 28 minutes.  Derrick Walton Jr. scored 20 points and dished nine assists in 36 minutes.  Jamorko Pickett and Cassius Stanley each added 14 points for Motor City as they took all four games in the first-ever season series between the two teams.
