Charge Fall to Skyforce

SIOUX FALLS, SD – The Cleveland Charge (13-17) were defeated by the Sioux Falls Skyforce (21-10), 112-103, at the Sanford Pentagon on Saturday night.  The win clinched a playoff berth for Sioux Falls.

Cleveland’s Sharife Cooper scored 22 of his 30 points in the third quarter, also finishing with nine assists, seven rebounds, three steals and two blocks in 38 minutes.  Pete Nance put up a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds with three steals in 36 minutes.  Devontae Shuler came off the bench to score 19 points and nab three steals in 22 minutes.  Zhaire Smith added 14 points and two blocks in 36 minutes.

Sioux Falls was paced by a trio of 20+ point scorers: Josh Christopher netted 22 with three steals in 39 minutes.  Malik Williams scored 22 with nine boards and three blocks in 26 minutes.  Former Charge G Olin Carter III hit 6-of-11 threes, finishing with 23 points and seven rebounds in 37 minutes.  The Skyforce held the Charge to 16 fourth quarter points on 21% from the field.
