Charge Beat By Bulls

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL – The Cleveland Charge (6-21) of the NBA G League, presented by Cleveland Clinic, were defeated on the road by the Windy City Bulls (14-16), 117-99, at the NOW Arena on Wednesday night. 

The Charge were led by Cameron Young’s fourth-straight 25+ point scoring game, netting 26 points with five rebounds and six assists in 41 minutes.  Tacko Fall had his 13th double-double of the season and 10th 20+ scoring game with 22 points on 9-of-11 shooting, 17 rebounds and three blocks in 24 minutes.  Mitch Ballock scored 12 points and grabbed six rebounds in 39 minutes.  Cleveland wins the season series between the two teams, 3-1, with the home team taking all four games.

Windy City took an 8-6 lead less than three minutes into the game and never relinquished their advantage the rest of the way, leading by as many as 23 in the game.  Kerwin Roach paced the Bulls with 23 points on 5-of-7 from three-point range in 24 minutes.  Malcolm Hill scored 20 points and grabbed five rebounds in 29 minutes.  Devon Dotson scored 14 points, dished five assists and nabbed four steals in 26 minutes.  Marko Simonovic posted a double-double of 13 points and 12 boards in 31 minutes.
