Charge Back Home for Pair of Games This Weekend

CLEVELAND, OH – The NBA G League’s Cleveland Charge, presented by Cleveland Clinic, return to Cleveland State’s Wolstein Center for a pair of games beginning Friday, January 28 at 7:00 p.m. against the Grand Rapids Gold (Denver Nuggets affiliate).  The Charge will honor local hip hop icon Kid Cudi on Friday with special uniforms for the second “Cleveland is the City” Series game! The two teams meet again on Saturday, January 29 at 7:00 p.m. for Bertman Original Ballpark Mustard Appreciation Night where the Charge will wear another set of unique uniforms and the first 1,000 fans will receive a Charge and Bertman baseball cap!  Tickets for both games start at just $5! Continuing to highlight the rich history of rap music in The Land, Friday’s “Cleveland is the City” game will have the Charge team wearing multicolored uniforms inspired by the moon man himself, Kid Cudi!  The jerseys will be available for purchase on the Cleveland Charge mobile app in an auction benefitting the Cavaliers Youth Foundation.  Also like every Friday home game, hot dogs are just $1 all night long!

The two teams will meet again on Saturday night where the Charge will celebrate another Cleveland icon: Bertman Original Ballpark Mustard!  Northeast Ohio fans have enjoyed this spicy brown treat at our ballparks, stadiums, and arenas for decades, and the team will pay homage with red, blue & Bertman’s mustard gold specialty uniforms that will be also available for purchase via auction!  The first 1,000 fans through the door receive a Charge/Berman ballcap!  Game Tickets for both nights start at only $5!  Click here or call 216-420-2730 to land your spot at a Charge game this season!

Auctions for the Kid Cudi and Bertman jerseys will give you a chance to own a piece of the game!
