CANTON, OH – The Canton Charge, powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers, have acquired forward Vincent Edwards from the Oklahoma City Blue in exchange for forward Tyler Cook.
Edwards (6-8, 225, Purdue) appeared in 29 games (13 starts) with Oklahoma City this season and averaged 11.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 25.9 minutes per game. The Middletown, OH native scored a season-high 35 points on 13-of-14 from the field with 11 rebounds in his final game with the Blue before the break.
Cook (6-8, 250, Iowa) appeared in 22 games (10 starts) this season for Canton and averaged 13.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists, while shooting 59.1 percent from the field in 22.2 minutes per game. He also appeared in 11 games for the Cleveland Cavaliers this season and averaged 1.7 points in 3.2 minutes per game.
