WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Canton Charge (3-4), powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers, snapped a three-game skid with a 115-105 victory over the Capital City Go-Go (2-4) on Friday night.

Canton’s offensive output in the second quarter was the difference maker in the game: The Charge hit 17-of-21 shots from the field as a team (81%) with nine of the ten players who saw the floor getting into the scoring column.  Trailing 30-26 entering the second, Canton scored 44 and went up by as many as 13 en route to a 70-62 halftime lead that they would never relinquish

Cavs Two-Way Player Billy Preston led Canton with 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting with four rebounds and three blocks in 28 minutes.  JaCorey Williams posted his first double-double of the year by netting 13 points and grabbing 15 boards with two steals in 23 minutes off the bench.  Scoochie Smith had an all-around effort of 11 points, six rebounds and eight assists in 35 minutes.  Canton’s reserves outscored the Go-Go bench on the night, 63-27.

All five Go-Go starters scored in double figures, led by Devin Robinson’s game-high 29 points with 13 rebounds and two steals in 38 minutes.  Troy Brown Jr. scored 13 points on 6-of-13 shooting in 32 minutes on assignment with the Wizards.  Lavoy Allen had a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds with three steals in 31 minutes.
