PORTLAND, ME –   The Canton Charge (19-25), powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers, used a career night from JaCorey Williams to help defeat the Maine Red Claws (17-27), 112-103, at the Portland Expo on Thursday night.  The victory gave Canton a 3-0 season sweep of Maine.

Canton’s Williams netted a career-high 29 points on 13-of-20 from the floor to go along with 11 rebounds and four assists in 38 minutes for his 11th double-double of the season.  Grant Jerrett scored 26 points with nine boards and four blocks in 38 minutes.  In his first career start for the Charge, Scoochie Smith had 17 points, eight rebounds and two steals in 39 minutes.  Isaac Hamilton added 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting in 24 minutes off the bench.

The Red Claws were paced by 25 points on 7-of-14 from the field from Trey Davis in 31 minutes of relief.  Devin Williams (15 points/11 rebounds) and Anthony Bennett (11 points/11 rebounds) each supplied a double-double for Maine.
